Let's break the ice on this thread.

Struxo, the sample keno file that I use loads all 20 balls. are you able to post your file somewhere, or at least the first few lines so I can compare the structure.

At this stage, I'll have a look at the OR function in the column filter to see why it's not working as expected.

I want to now start on the level of tertiary filters, I think we have a relatively powerful column filter system that is capable of extracting the high probability balls. Now its a matter of generating combinations of these balls and purging it through the tertiary filters.

The initial filters will be the removal of:
  • x or more sequential numbers.
  • x or more multiples of y.
  • x or more odd numbers.
  • x or more prime numbers.
  • x or more numbers in any decade.
  • rows below or above a min and max total.

I'm looking at the best way to implement the digit ending filters.
As we have a wheeling system included as well. If it gets used, I want to look at ways of ordering the balls in the wheel that will optimise it in relation to all of the above as well.

Regards
Patrick

Hi Patrick ,
here is sample of my Keno file. It's text file.

01 05 06 12 13 15 17 19 20 21 32 39 46 49 55 58 64 66 69 70
06 08 11 15 16 20 22 23 35 38 39 42 47 55 59 60 62 66 67 69
08 09 13 14 16 18 19 26 29 34 37 46 47 54 60 65 67 68 69 70
03 04 05 06 08 14 25 26 30 42 43 46 47 55 59 61 62 63 64 66
02 03 09 11 12 15 23 26 29 31 42 45 57 60 63 65 66 67 69 70
03 05 09 11 14 21 26 29 30 41 45 47 50 54 55 57 58 60 61 66
02 07 09 11 13 15 16 24 28 37 38 40 42 47 49 50 53 56 60 67

i tried with "No key field" and "No date included" checked and unchecked but all i get is missing last number or first number.
I use only numbers 1-50 because i don't trust in results in Drawing analysis screen for numbers higher then 50.
I hope you can find something.

e Sawubona Patrick

Hoe gaan dit in Egoli in die ou Transvaal. This morning before I checked the Wednesday draw on the SA lottery I had a quick look at the =< skips on the number pairs on the last 3 skip cycles including the current one. I ran all the 1176pairs ans sorted skip 1 in descending order and picked the first six I came across just to see whatsup. they were as follows:-
15,30
7,48
11,39
33,48
16,25
22,25

I then checked the results e-mailed to me. The pool was 9 numbers and 4 of those 9 numbers hit in that draw. This is a pretty phenomenal result. At the moment my lottery research is curtailed because of work commitments. You can duplicate this yourself. The sooner I can win the lottery the sooner I can stop wasting my time working and spend more time on the interesting things in life like seeing how unrandom lotteries are I had to spend the bank holiday weekend looking for my ancestors in the east of London.

Hi Struxo,
Good news, it's only the display of the loaded numbers that messes up the last column, this seems to happen only when there is no key field and no date field. All the info is loaded correctly and you can see that by going to the Drawing Analysis tab and clicking balls. You'll see ball 70 is displayed and has skip values relating to it. The display will be corrected in the next release.

Patrick

Dumela Springbok,

I agree, work commitments are slowing down the wondrous research in Lotteries, maybe we can get a syndicate or 2 to employ us full time
Having to work on the numbers now and again only gets us acquainted with them and not to the point we get to know them intimately
That is pretty impressive, if only it continued that way. In Moses' thread, I predicted a digit ending with a 2 and at least one pair. This came in so there is definitely validity in using such methods as a tertiary filter when generating possible combinations.

Patrick

Hello Bloubul

First you should have the SA draws. To test skip the very last draw. Load the next 100. Hit the pairs control. go to skip 1 and sort. Start to look at the pairs with the current skip at 0. Write down the first 6 that have skips =< their median. You should end up with the pairs which I posted. Remember you should tick the box which gives you the skips history and expand it. Simple. For last Saturday's draw skip the last two draws to test. Your results should be identical to mine. I am using the 6/49 game and do not use the bonus ball. In other word I never have the bonus ball in the data file as I never record it. You could try the bonus ball but have it in a separate data file, never mix the 2 data files.

Hi Springbok,
Like Bloubul, I also tried to duplicate your result. The sorting algorithm I use only sorts on the one column, but any previous sorts you did would have an impact on you final sort. It looks like I'll have to add in a multi-column sort feature.

Patrick

Hi Patrick

No ways, you got it wrong. The way I do it overcomes that problem. I do not use the other skip columns. If you delete all columns except the median and skip 1 and tick the radio button(show skips) and then hit the pairs control and then sort the skip 1 column into either ascending or descending order the draw history that is attached to the pairs is sorted when you sort the skip 1 column. Try it, it works.

Hi Patrick

Just to add, when I set up the format as mentioned in the previous post I save it as skipsearcher.clm. Once the data file is loaded and invoke skipsearcher and voila the format appears. I tick the needed radio button hit the pairs control, sort and then expand the skips history. There you go. Simple.

Morning Bloubul

All my files are in sorted order. Remember to backtest. If you can catch 3 numbers in a pool of around 9 numbers you are way beyond pure randomness. If you can avoid wheeling as this will guarantee you will never win.
